Ben Lee (from Oklahoma) was hired by a summer camp in 2011 to teach filmmaking to kids and create the camp’s promotional videos.

Over the next decade, he branched out into filming and editing live events, music videos, instructionals, short films, documentaries, dance films, and animations. In 2020 he received a Telly award for his editing and animation work on Kian Byrne’s music video “You+Me” and a Mid-America Emmy for his editing work on “Light Up the Plaza”. His work has been featured in film festivals across the United States, including South by Southwest and Deadcenter Film Festival in Oklahoma City.

He currently specializes in videos for non-profits, small businesses, startups and artists looking to advertise their work. No matter the budget, his philosophy is to always start with story, and to always be “in it for the edit.”
